The past couple of weeks have been an absolute pain… I’ve been struggling with horrendous back pain that has left me laying flat on the floor of the living room. After many restless nights of sleep, or lack there of. I was probably averaging 2-4 hours of decent sleep each night. Waking up at 4:30 in the morning to hit the gym at 5, then getting home showering, and going to work until 5, then meal prepping for the next day… I would have maybe 3-4 hours that were just spent trying to fix up my back. It really took away from the things I truly enjoy. Just last weekend I was out to dinner with a group of friends, and I couldn’t enjoy any of it because of the pain I was in. I enjoyed the company, but couldn’t add anything to the conversations going on around me because of the pain. I finally broke down and saw the chiro. It has helped out a lot, in fact I was able to go out and golf with an incredible group of my friends. There was some pain but it was much more manageable and was able to enjoy the day.
I’m saying all of this because the back pain has really put a cramp as far as content goes. I really don’t think anyone would care to see a large man laying on his back in pain struggling to move… maybe you do, but that’d just be strange. But now that I’m able to move with a lot less pain, and have gotten back in the gym.. the content will start flowing. In fact in the next couple days there will be a video of the golf outing. It’s going to be rough but it was a blast. Hopefully we’ll go out again and I can get a lot more footage then I was able to get this past time. I’m still feeling out the video process.. I’m a little self conscious when it comes to that. But I’m working on it and hope to provide even better content as we go along on this journey.
