Thanksgiving on the Horizon

Thanksgiving is a couple days away… which is not a good thing for those of us who do not have the willpower to say no to tasty desserts and all the incredible carbs that will no doubt be plowed down. I, for one, will partake in more of the carb area than the tasty desserts. Its not that I do not like desserts, I just can not plow them down like some people do. I may have one slice of pie.. unless it is that really good peanut butter pie or heaven help everyone if there is cheesecake. I’d say the inner fat kid would come out but it is more like the inner Hulk would come out and destroy anyone that approached either one of those… those are MINE…MINE!!!!

Being from an Italian family… sure we have turkey and mashed potatoes on Thanksgiving, but we also have meatballs, sausage, pork chops, gnocchi, and rigs. That is where my issue with overindulging in carbs comes in. I can never get enough rigs on my plate and afterwards on the multiple take home plates. I will no doubt be living the life of  Caligula but with food.. for the next few days. This will not help me at all with dropping weight.. in fact, I will probably gain three pounds because of this. Which will make the journey to 240 a little more difficult.. but, fuck it! Thanksgiving is once a year, everyone should enjoy it while it is here.

The following Monday will be the start date for cutting carbs way back and possibly calories as well. I know I am going to have to cut calories severely to get to 240. It is going to be a hell of a process. I always have an issue when it comes to sacrificing strength and size. Hell, I’m a Plus Size Male Model.. I have to keep a two X shirt size… that may come to  an end though. I am going to implement more cardio into the regimen and make adjustments as needed.

For now though, I, as well as most of you should enjoy the abundance of food that will be available this Thursday and throughout the weekend. Throw the diet out the window for a couple days and enjoy yourselves… Then hop right back on that wagon, ride that motherfucker until the wheels fall off!! LET’S FUCKING GOOOOOOO!!!!
